I am very excited to announce that my first article has appeared in the world-renowned magazine Airliner World from the UK with the title “Haulin’ Freight”. It has always been a dream for me to publish there and many photos had already found their way to the magazine via my Airteamimages membership. Key Publishing that owns the magazine has also printed images from me in other publications before. Thinking hard on what to write about, it was soon obvious that I should tell the interested public about a typical flight on the Lufthansa Cargo MD-11F. Easier said than done! I didn’t want to invent something, so I had to wait … Continue reading

Just yesterday I flew to Krasnoyarsk again and even though it was past 8 pm already the sun was still up and illuminating the apron nicely (unfortunately there were some clouds as well, but no Cumulonimbus clouds). You would expect that the weather in Siberia would give you a clear sky and freezing temperatures, but the opposite was the case! At one stage we had +3°C and it was raining. A storm was raging outside and many of our flights had to divert to Novosibirsk. Yet, we arrived safely … Continue reading →
Time flies, especially when I am at home! For some reason there is barely enough time to take a deep breath, before I have to do some “real life stuff”, like going grocery shopping or visiting my family. I did not fly much within the past three weeks and only did one rotation via Krasnoyarsk (KJA) and Beijing (PEK) to Seoul-Incheon (ICN) and back via Krasno to Frankfurt. My online store has performed quite well and a few people have bought some of my images to be printed! I have even ordered a big poster for myself in size 150x100cm. That is really large and the quality was absolutely amazing … Continue reading →
