Boeing has been using winglets on its Boeing 737 aircraft for many years and finally Airbus is doing the same. They presented the first aircraft last year at the ILA Berlin Air Show on an Air Asia aircraft. Yesterday the first Sharklet A320 with Lufthansa took to the skies and I saw it coming in from Barcelona today! It was great to see D-AIZP, but I was quite disappointed that the Sharklets were in plain white – no Lufthansa logo and no colour… But here are the photos:
